Hallo and welcome!
We have a different approach to language teaching. We are experienced teachers with degrees in language or education and teaching experience. The majority of our coaches have an additional skill that enables us to offer an interesting variety of lesson formats - but they all have one thing in common: a desire to help you to speak English. We take a different approach to the typical English lesson format; by starting with oral comprehension and expression. The English Club is based on the approach of 'natural acquisition'. If you are local, why not come and have a cup of tea and a chat and we will be happy to tell you about our different approach to learning English.
Karen Day

Karen has a linguistics degree and has studied language, syntax and grammar. In addition, she is qualified to teach English as a Foreign Language to adults and children and is approved by the Academy of Toulouse to teach English in Schools for the Education Nationale.
Karen specialises in teaching English using methods such as Total Physical Response (TPR) and oral based teaching that enable the language to be acquired directly. These methods are used extensively in the English Club and our Holiday Club with excellent results. Karen regularly participates in teaching classes for the National Education in France, from maternelle to college. She also participates in a special programme of 'immersions' where up to 35 school children spend several days in a specially designed programme, fully immersed in the english language and culture. She is an experienced teacher and teaches children and adults and has experience of teaching Business Communication and TOIEC preparation.
Sharon Lombardi

Sharon is a fully qualified teacher with seven years experience teaching english for a prestigious arts school in Paris. She is also a professional musician and has travelled the world playing at festivals and concerts, just recently playing with a philharmonic orchestra. Sharon combines her talent for teaching and music to bring english classes to life with song, dance and drama. Sharon also provides lessons to adults via the internet (skype). Caroline Miles

Caroline works with the Ligue de L'Enseignement and the Education Nationale in providing activities for children in english. She is a fully qualified driving instructor, which means she has a lot of patience! Caroline teaches children of all ages and hosts students in her home for a full immersion in English. She has two children of her own.
