The Prime Minister of England has 'triggered' (started) the process for the United Kingdom to leave the European Union.
The Prime Minister has promised to represent all members of society, including EU citizens who are resident in the United Kingdom.
If we leave the EU without a trade agreement, we will have to trade on World Trade Organisation Terms.
On the question of security within Europe, the Prime Minister said: " .. weakening our cooperation with Europe would be a mistake. The vote to leave the EU is not a rejection of the values we share as fellow Europeans. We will continue to play our part in promiting and supporting those values during the negotiations and once they are done."
